Meet Angelica

Angelica is a dedicated community leader and advocate. She is a proud third generation immigrant, and the daughter of working-class parents running for County Commissioner to fight for all working families.

COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP AND INVOLVEMENT

Angelica career is centered in community engagement, business and economic development, and youth development. She serves on multiple boards of directors including: United Way of the Yampa Valley, Seminars at Steamboat, and the Steamboat Sports Barn. Angelica was Chair of the Young Professionals Network and collaborates with groups including LiftUp, First Impressions Early Childhood Council, and Community Ag Alliance.

CAREER OF SERVING ROUTT COUNTY

Angelica works across the county talking with families and engaging with different communities. She also works with our local and state elected officials advocating for policy that supports working families, agriculture, and our environment. Angelica works with businesses, nonprofits, and entrepreneurs to help them reach their goals. She connects them with opportunities for growth, progressive workplace policies, professional development, and networking.

ANGELICA KNOWS HOW TO GET RESULTS

Angelica has earned local and state-wide awards for her results. She was named a Routt County 20 Under 40 Winner for her community work during the pandemic supporting businesses, public health, and recovery. Angelica was recognized across the state for her work with businesses, earning two awards at the Annual Colorado Chambers Conference. She has been involved with many successful local initiatives and campaigns and knows what it takes to get things done across the county.

Angelica has proven her commitment to our community and is ready to serve Routt County. She will be a fierce advocate for working families, protecting our open spaces, water, and environment, and investing in housing solutions and work to give every child a shot at success. That’s why Angelica is supported by past and current county commissioners, state representatives and senators, city council members, environmental conservations, and local leaders.
